Picture

Rain patters against them,
A drearier day not found.
Yet comfort can be heard,
In the soft hush of cars,
Rolling by in a blur.

Picture

One hell of a sloppy day.
Rain streaks the neighbourhood; Dampness chills my bones.
I'd rather stay inside;
If only I wasn't a rebel.

Picture

Rays of sunshine hidden.
Nestled safe,
Under a heavy grey blanket.
Planning it's next breakthrough, The rebel behind the clouds.
