Last time this challenge surfaced on Twitter, I didn't receive a challenge, and while I contemplated just starting up a string of it myself, I never got around to it. This time, I received the challenge from Vanessa (@Married2ARod), as seen here: https://romancedonewrite.wordpress.com.
Accepting without hesitation, and without further ado, here are my seven lines of Tumble Into Me (my #PitMad submission). On the 7th page of M/S, count seven lines down, and posted the seven lines from there (so lines 8-15).
Still. Something wasn’t adding up with his reoccurring visitor. Liam looked down at Julia, who this time was hunched over, resting her head on crossed arms which were leaning on the table. He couldn’t see her face through the disarray of her silky looking hair, but her steady breathing indicated she was definitely out for the count.
Liam reached down, intending to bring her duffel inside, and then her, as the looming clouds confirmed this morning’s forecast promised to be wet and gloomy. He managed a half-hearted tug on the bag before Julia shot to her feet, arms out in front of her in well-practiced protective stance.
I challenge these seven individuals:
@Leehotline, @A_ChristineD, @DaemonsWriter, @DonnaBarker,
@josiejo127, @Keira_Writes, @joshljorgenson.
Show your hand. I dare ya! :)
