The fact that I am feverishly working on my 'debut' still makes me smirk. While I am currently a pre-published writer, I have been writing fiction since high school. I've always been more of the bookworm than the athletic sort, and spent many a weekend during those high school years, holed up in my bedroom with my nose in a book; more often than not, I'd be lost in yet another romance novel.
I guess it should come as no surprise that, even after all these years, THIS is what I want to do. I have been writing romance stories for at least a decade. Only in the last year did I finally make the decision to give an honest effort at becoming published - in hopes to share all these stories with you! While I work to get Tumble Into Me published, I will also share poetry and old short stories as well. These will be added into the Works in Fiction and Poetry pages whenever possible, so visit soon!
Currently live near the 'The Best Place on Earth' and no I don't mean Disneyland but the ever-beautiful, Vancouver, B.C, Canada. Originally from Scarborough, Ontario, I've moved at least 20 times in my life (been to 13 schools) and I am not part of a military family! I guess the 'gypsy-ness' lived on. After school years, in my mid twenties, I had the fortunate opportunity to work onboard a luxury cruise line - an impulsive decision that had me on a ship three weeks after reading an employment ad in the Georgia Straight! Yes, I was paid to entertain youth onboard and travel to many remarkable coastal cities. The six years spent at sea will always be a major highlight in my life. One thing that was always consistent though, was how much I appreciated coming home. Looking out on the horizon as the airplane descended always reminded me just how lucky I am to live here!

When I am not working at my rent paying day job or battling with my 'Word Monster', I love to read and spend time with my Tortoiseshell Maine Coon Cat Carly. I also enjoy board games & puzzles, spending time outdoors - rain or shine (Vancouverite!), checking out local festivals and events and am a big movie buff. Romantic comedies are my favourite (but that's probably not a surprise), I love Super Hero movies (Marvel anyone!?) and well-written suspenseful psychological thrillers.
